We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Process Engineer to join our team, ensuring our production processes are efficient, high-quality, and scalable.
About the Job:
The Industrial Process Engineer will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing processes to deliver high-quality, reliable products. Working closely with cross-functional teams and our contract manufacturer in Batam, Indonesia, this role combines strategic planning with hands-on implementation to enhance efficiency and quality.

What You Will Be Doing:
1. Optimize Production Processes
Analyze current workflows and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to streamline operations and reduce waste
Implement process changes and track measurable improvements
2. Reduce Production Reject Rates
Investigate quality issues and resolve bottlenecks
Develop corrective actions in partnership with Product Engineering
Track performance to achieve measurable reductions in rejection rates
3. Implement Quality Metrics
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for production yield and quality
Work with the contract manufacturer to improve data collection systems
Leverage data insights to drive continuous improvements
4. Lead New Model Production Processes
Document and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new and existing models
Oversee process validation and improvements for new product launches
5. Deliver Key Milestones
First Month: Finalize process documentation for one high-volume model in English
First Three Months: Propose and implement process improvements with defined tracking metrics
First Six Months: Implement quality control measures and report measurable progress monthly
What We Need to See:
Proven experience optimizing manufacturing processes and implementing quality control systems
Strong analytical skills with expertise in root-cause analysis and data-driven decision-making
Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, including engineering and quality assurance
Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably with contract manufacturers
Willingness to spend up to 50% of your time on-site at the contract manufacturer in Batam, Indonesia
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies is preferred
Required Qualifications:
Education: Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in electronic manufacturing process engineering
